Co-sponsored by the Japanese American Service Committee and Facing History and Ourselves, a special screening of "And Then They Came for Us" will be offered at the Siskel Film Center in Chicago on June 26 at 6:00pm. Marking the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066 signed by President Roosevelt in 1942, this film features the stories of Japanese Americans incarcerated during WWII and showcases photographs by artists including Dorothea Lange and Ansel Adams. Interviews include actor and member of the USJC Board of Councilors George Takei, who was incarcerated along with his family.
