Co-sponsored by the Japanese American Service Committee and Facing History and Ourselves, a special screening of "And Then They Came for Us" was offered at the Siskel Film Center in Chicago on June 26th. Marking the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066 signed by President Roosevelt in 1942, this film featured the stories of Japanese Americans incarcerated during WWII and showcased photographs by artists including Dorothea Lange and Ansel Adams. Interviews included actor and member of the USJC Board of Councilors George Takei, who was incarcerated along with his family.
