Mineta Urges Japan to Issue a "Formal Apology"

Yahoo! Japan published an article on November 10 discussing former U.S Secretary of Transportation, Norman Mineta's remarks about Japan's foreign relations following the Nikkei Internment Settlement. Norman Mineta, the first American of Japanese ancestry to become a Cabinet member in the United States, shared his opinion on the Chinese and Korean post-war settlement issues. He urged the Japanese government to issue a formal apology to its Asian neighbors, and aim towards the construction of positive future relations.
