(USA Today) One year ago, an earthquake with a seismic magnitude of 9.0 suddenly struck northeastern Japan. The resulting tsunami, with waves as high as 60 feet, brought about devastating damage in the region.
Fifteen-thousand-eight-hundred-fifty-four precious lives were lost and 3,274 remain missing. Sunday, March 11, marks the one-year commemoration of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
