TOMODACHI Emerging Leader, Wong Interviewed in Local Newspaper

The U.S.-Japan Council named Kuriko Hasegawa Wong, Vice President, FleishmanHillard, a 2015 TOMODACHI Emerging Leaders Program delegate. Hasegawa Wong and 11 other Japanese-American young professionals will participate in the U.S.-Japan Council Annual Conference in Tokyo, Japan Nov. 9-10. Kuriko Hasegawa Wong was profiled in the Chunichi Shimbun Hamamatsu-region's daily morning column "Ohao" as one of the 12 Emerging Leaders Program representatives for the U.S.-Japan Council this year. In the interview, Kuriko talks about her upbringing in Hamamatsu and her interest in cultural exchange from a young age. She said the experience as an ELP deepened her desire to bridge the two countries together, using her bicultural background.
