Please join us on September 16 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm ET for the first edition of the U.S.-Japan Council’s Bilateral Boardroom. This event will convene key decision-makers from business, government, and the civil sector in the United States and Japan for critical conversations around the theme of Leadership Through Crisis, Lessons Learned. Don’t miss your opportunity to join this program examining leadership and critical lessons from prior crises, analyzing the impact of the current coronavirus pandemic from a social and economic perspective, and setting the agenda for the future of the U.S.-Japan relationship.

The program will include a tribute to USJC Founding President, the late Irene Hirano Inouye, and the late Senator Daniel K. Inouye, who together with other Japanese American leaders founded USJC; a panel dialogue and fireside chat on crisis leadership; insight videos from industry and community leaders; and additional content to be announced.

This event will be held virtually and registration is open. The link to join will be sent to registrants prior to the event date. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Bilateral Boardroom is the premiere event of USJC’s 2020 Signature Series. Monthly flagship virtual events will be held beginning in September and scheduled throughout the remainder of the year, providing insights and exclusive content to our stakeholders and supporters. Through this series, USJC will explore the theme “U.S.-Japan Relations in the Coronavirus Era: Leadership for Recovery, Resilience and Community.” After the Bilateral Boardroom in September, we will present a USJC members forum in October, a public symposium in November, and a next-generation summit in December. Look out for more information on each of these events as they are announced and registration opens.
