USJC’s Mental Wellness Affinity Group Meets for the Third Time

On January 26 (U.S.) and January 27 (Japan), the USJC President & CEO Suzanne Basalla hosted the third Mental Wellness Affinity Group conversation. The discussion was co-facilitated by USJC Council Leader and Senior Research Fellow at the Health and Global Policy Institute, Dr. Gerald Hane. The conversation opened with Council Leader and Chairperson & CEO, Regional Managing Partner at EY Japan Co., Ltd. Moriaki Kida, who delivered an informative presentation on the well-being initiative in Japan to showcase how Japanese corporations are addressing the concept of well-being.

Following Mr. Kida’s presentation, the Mental Wellness Affinity Group Youth Initiative, a subgroup composed of the younger members, shared how they were progressing on their goal of encouraging more young leaders to engage in the vital conversation of mental health.
