The U.S.-Japan Council is closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 (the novel coronavirus outbreak), which is changing rapidly. Our top priority is the safety of our community and program participants, and as a result, some of our programs have been impacted or cancelled.
We will continue to monitor this issue and track guidance from the World Health Organization and other public health and safety organizations to evaluate how to proceed. We will continue to provide updates to our community.
Our thoughts are with those affected by the coronavirus, both within the United States and Japan, as well as our neighbors in China and the rest of the world.
