Congratulations to Vice Chair of the USJC Board of Councilors Masaaki Tanaka, who is now the President and CEO of Japan Investment Corporation (JIC). JIC is supervised by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and replaces the former Innovation Network Corporation of Japan. It will invest in new businesses and technologies including IoT and AI, and will also work with investors and companies to promote and encourage open innovation in Japan.
