USJC Hosts a Conversation with General Paul M. Nakasone

On January 11, the U.S.-Japan Council and The Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) hosted an exclusive “off-the-record” interview with General Paul M. Nakasone, Commander, U.S. Cyber Command, and Director, National Security Agency/Chief, Central Security Service. General Nakasone is currently the highest-ranking officer of Japanese and Asian American heritage in the United States Army.

Moderated by Deloitte US Chief Executive Officer Joe Ucuzoglu, the discussion covered global security and business; leadership development and talent acquisition; the General’s personal story and Japanese American heritage; and fantasy football!

The interview was followed by a special session with invited guests, moderated by USJC Board Member James Higa.
