On March 29, Founding Board Chairman Tom Iino convened the Legacy Council. The group welcomed the new class of members who had completed their full terms of Board service at the end of 2021. This was Fred Katayama’s first meeting since stepping off the Legacy Council to join USJC as Executive Vice President, and he joined Suzanne in providing key updates to the Council and listening to their advice and suggestions, especially related to the Annual Conference.
The Legacy Council was established to recognize the invaluable contributions of past Board Members and to continue to engage them in support of the Council’s mission. New Legacy Council Members include: Phyllis Campbell, Susan Eichor, James Higa, Leona Hiraoka, Tomoko Kizawa, Stan Koyanagi, Gary Moriwaki and Dennis Sugino.
