Miranda Magana
Communications Manager

Miranda Magaña is the Communications Manager for the U.S.-Japan Council, where she leads communication strategies. A Fulbright Scholar, Miranda's international experiences have deeply shaped her career in cross-cultural communication.
Before joining the U.S.-Japan Council, Miranda founded MiniNature Reserve, a nonprofit where she served as Social & Creative Media Director, using her skills to amplify the organization’s mission of environmental education and awareness. She also worked as Administrative Director for Toshin High School's 東進ハイスクール Global English Camp in Shinjuku, Tokyo, where she coordinated educational programs for international teachers and Japanese students. Miranda is passionate about building bridges between cultures and is committed to fostering understanding between the U.S. and Japan.
