Robin Mitchell is the Development Coordinator for the Washington, DC office, overseeing incoming gifts and managing relationships with U.S. donors and stakeholders. After graduating from college she worked as an assistant editor at a Tokyo-based translation and localization company, editing and writing materials for organizations including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the National Institute for Defense Studies before returning to her home state of Maine and working as a programs assistant at the Maine Bankers Association. She joined USJC in the fall of 2018. Robin holds a B.A. in Eastern Asian Languages and Literatures from Wesleyan University and completed a post-graduate curriculum at the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies in Yokohama.
