The U.S.-Japan Council Annual Conference is a yearly event that brings together regional, national and international leaders from the government, business, academia and nonprofit sectors to discuss the current status and future outlook of the U.S.-Japan partnership across a range of timely and relevant topics.

This year’s conference will focus on economic revitalization, climate & sustainability, security and subnational diplomacy. Scheduled activities will include: next-generation leadership programs, a sponsors dinner, a members forum, USJC leadership meetings, networking dinners and a public symposium. Following the public symposium, the 2024 Host Committee is set to host hands-on roundtable sessions and workshops featuring GX, DX and AI innovators and businesses on Friday, November 1 (note: registration is separate). The event will be followed by charitable entertainment and cuisine from Japanese regions that are striving to be role models for sustainability.

Public Programming

Members of the public are welcome to join us for the Public Symposium conference day on Thursday, October 31. All attendees are also invited to register for the networking dinners on Tuesday. USJC members are additionally invited to the Members Forum on Wednesday.
