Mr. David Morimoto

David Morimoto has served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Central Pacific Financial Corp. and Central Pacific Bank since March 1, 2025. As the Chief Operating Officer, he oversees the leaders of Commercial Markets, Retail Markets, Wealth Markets, Real Estate, and Digital Strategy & Channel Management. Prior to this position, he served as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Central Pacific Financial Corp. and Central Pacific Bank from January 2022 to February 2025. Mr. Morimoto has more than 32 years of experience in the banking industry and has extensive experience in effectively working with institutional investors, investment bankers, and financial institution regulators. He started his career at Central Pacific Bank in 1991 and has broad experience in asset/liability and investment portfolio management.

Mr. Morimoto received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and received his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from the Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Active in various community organizations, Mr. Morimoto currently serves on the board of The Institute for Human Services, HAPA Leaders and the Downtown Athletic Club Hawaii.
