2025 Annual Conference

The U.S.-Japan Council (USJC) is pleased to announce that its 2025 Annual Conference will take place on October 15 at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu, HI, followed by Members Day on October 16.

USJC’s Annual Conference brings together leaders from government, business, academia, and the nonprofit sector to explore the evolving U.S.-Japan global partnership. This year’s conference, titled “Bilateral Strength in Action: Charting New Paths for Global Peace and Prosperity,” will take place in Honolulu. It will explore how significant shifts in leadership and policy priorities are creating new challenges and opportunities for strategic collaboration and meaningful global impact. Amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and global economic uncertainty, USJC is calling for leaders across sectors to unite in strengthening the U.S.-Japan cooperation in critical areas, including economic and energy security, geopolitical stability, and investment opportunities. We will also delve into the dynamic nature of U.S.-Japan collaboration across multiple dimensions, such as startups, sustainability, and the enduring legacy of family-owned businesses.

Beyond the Sessions: Optional Activities

USJC is excited to announce that the 2025 Annual Conference Host Committee will be organizing optional networking dinners and offsite excursions. Networking dinners will take place on Wednesday, October 15, along with a special reception, Kākou: USJC Comes Together, on Thursday, October 16. The offsite excursions include events on Oahu as well as day trip options to Maui and Hawaii Island, scheduled for Friday, October 17. Discounted overnight stays on Maui and Hawaii Island may also be available for those interested.
