USJC Japan Region Enjoys Summer BBQ

On Sunday, August 7, USJC Japan Region members and friends gathered at Tama River BBQ Area to catch up with one another over grilled veggies, yakiniku, yakisoba, Hokkaido’s local Royce chocolates courtesy of Takanori Nagatomo and apple pie courtesy of U.S.-Japan Council (Japan) Director of Programs and Partnerships Kaoru Utada. This was one of the first in-person events that the Japan Region has hosted in a few years, and the regional members plan on hosting a few more in-person get-together opportunities leading up to the Annual Conference in October.
