On April 18, USJC’s Japan Region gathered for its monthly Sankakai meeting, which met in person for the first time. U.S.-Japan Council (Japan) Board of Councilors Member Scott Sato (Tricor Japan) and Tricor Japan generously provided the venue, food and beverages.
Current Chair of the Board of Councilors Ernie Higa (Higa Industries Co. Ltd.) shared stories regarding USJC’s origin and his thoughts on what makes the organization unique. Mr. Higa also shared his thoughts about business in Japan. Approximately 30 individuals attended the event including a few new and potential members. The Japan region’s May Sankakai event will take place online; the June Sankakai is slated to be an in-person event.
