Laura Lee
Executive & Development Assistant
Laura Lee is the Executive & Development Assistant at the U.S.-Japan Council. Her primary responsibilities include logistical operations and calendar management for the CEO, while also supporting development initiatives, including the Forging Our Future Together (FOFT) campaign.
Prior to joining USJC, Laura held several positions focused on strengthening U.S.-Japan relations, including as a Program Coordinator for the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles, a Program Associate at Keiro, and a Coordinator of International Relations (CIR) in Yamaguchi, Japan through the JET Program.
Laura earned her B.A. in International Studies - Linguistics and Japanese Studies from the University of California, San Diego. During her undergraduate years, she was a member of the Japanese drumming ensemble Asayake Taiko and completed a year-long intensive study abroad program at Waseda University.
