Mie Baylon

Executive & Administrative Assistant

Mie Baylon is the Executive & Administrative Assistant for the U.S.-Japan Council (USJC). She holds a  Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from San Diego State University. Mie brings experience from a range of various industries including, healthcare, hospitality, and banking where she served as an office manager, executive assistant, and accountant. 

Born and raised in Japan, Mie attended university in both Japan and the United States. This bicultural experience provided a deep appreciation for USJC’s mission and a unique perspective on the importance of building bridges between the United States and Japan.

Mie is a wife and mother of three boys and a Shih Tzu, who loves to travel, and enjoys snowboarding and paddle boarding.
