Time: 2:30-4:00pm HST
Location: Kailua, HI
Registration: USJC members and their family are welcome to this event with limited capacity. If you are interested in registering please email Lauren Matsumoto at [email protected].

Normal Robotics in Kailua builds next generation robots, converts gas cars to electric, and has portals connecting different parts of the world. They also work with Tonari, a Japan-based tech company, to connect physical spaces through these portals, including linking Japan, Hawaii and California. Normal is designed to be a place of engineering and innovation that uplifts local talent and industry.

Ando is an artisan matcha and tea bar built to share the deep love for craft and design in architecture, products, and food. It also shows off some of the things Normal is working on behind the scenes. USJC Associate Ashten Akemoto is the Technical Co-Founder and Engineer at Normal Robotics and is opening up the space for us to learn and spend time together.

At this event, we will be touring the Normal Robotics space, sampling matcha from Ando, and getting a chance to reconnect with other Hawaii Region members!
