You are invited to join us for an exclusive VIP Preview and Cocktail Reception celebrating the upcoming exhibition, Arrested Thresholds, by acclaimed Japanese-American artist Taiji Terasaki.
This special evening offers a first look at the exhibit before its official public opening. In addition to enjoying wine and cheese, you will have the unique chance to hear directly from Taiji about his creative process. It will also be a fantastic opportunity to mingle, reconnect, and network with fellow USJC members in an inspiring setting.
About the Artist
Taiji Terasaki is a Honolulu-based artist whose work seamlessly intersects contemporary art, science, and environmental advocacy. Working across diverse mediums—including photography, sculpture, mist projections, and immersive installations—his practice explores profound themes of memory, ritual, migration, and ecological restoration. He has exhibited globally, with recent projects spanning from Paris to Kyoto, and is represented right here in New York City by the Ki Smith Gallery.
