We’re excited to launch a new series that will highlight trailblazers in USJC’s network who will share insights and lessons learned as visionary leaders! Join us for a chance to hear from this series’ first speaker, Keishi Hotsuki —  the longest serving Chief Risk Officer on Wall Street. After 12 years as CRO at Morgan Stanley in New York, he now serves as its Senior Advisor, and he sits on the Global Advisory Board at Japanese financial titan MUFG.

Hotsuki’s journey is inspiring. He didn’t speak English until age 25 when he moved to Pittsburgh for graduate studies. He began his career as a trader at Fuji Bank, and over the years, he climbed the ranks at Bankers Trust and Merrill Lynch and navigated through global challenges like the financial crisis and the pandemic. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear his incredible story of resilience and cultural adaptation. What’s more, you’ll gain leadership insights tailored for Japanese and Japanese American professionals. Whether you work in business, government or nonprofits, you’ll walk away with invaluable advice on how to thrive. Plus, his talks are always filled with humor, so you’ll have a good time. Hotsuki will be sharing his wisdom in a fireside chat moderated by USJC Executive Vice President Fred Katayama, and welcome remarks will be delivered by Masatoshi Komoriya, Executive Chairman of MUFG Americas Holdings Corporation.

This event is graciously co-hosted by MUFG Americas. Light refreshments will be provided during the reception following the chat.

Admission to our in-person programming is limited to the first 40 respondents. If you are unable to join us in person, you can join us online, as this event will be livestreamed. For in-person attendees, please bring your IDs for security check-in.
