On April 14, USJC Board Member Mino Tsumura (Deloitte & Touche LLP) hosted a hanami event for the USJC NorCal region. Members had the opportunity to celebrate the new season together and meet the USJC President & CEO Audrey Yamamoto, who shared her recent experience participating in the festivities surrounding Prime Minister Kishida’s visit to the United States and her vision for USJC.
The event also featured Bay Area and Northern California local Japanese businesses, including okonomiyaki popup Okkon popup, a sake tasting by Den Sake, and gourmet chocolates by Deux Cranes. Deputy Consul General KISHIMORI Hajime joined the event with many of the USJC NorCal members.
