The Southeast Region hosted its annual in-person gathering in Atlanta in late April consisting of twenty-five USJC members and guests. The weekend event was a festive and inspiring get together. Highlights included a corporate suite experience at the Atlanta Braves game, The Carter Center, Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, World of Coca-Cola, Pascal’s for a southern lunch and Nakato Japanese Restaurant for an incredible dinner with Counsel General Maeda. Special thanks to Council Leader Rob Ohno (Annika Foundation, JALD’ 24) for bringing the Southeast Region together and to Council Leaders Jessica Cork (YKK Corporation of America) and Nozomi Morgan (Michiki Morgan Worldwide), Associate Yuko Saito (Hitachi, Ltd.) and Watanabe Scholar Miho Kurashima for their hard work in planning such a wonderful weekend. The Southeast Region was also grateful for USJC Senior Membership Engagement and Regional Coordinator Lauren Matsumoto’s attendance.
Thank you to Council Leader Rob Ohno (Annika Foundation, JALD’ 24) for the written content above.
