USJC President and CEO Suzanne Basalla joined the visiting Japanese delegation of the Japan-US Parliamentary Association for a meeting at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC. The delegation included Mr. Hirofumi Nakasone (President of the Japan-US Parliamentary Friendship League and Member of the House of Councillors) and Members of the House of Representatives Mr. Seishiro Eto, Mr. Yoshitaka Sakurada and Mr. Sinsuke Okuno. Topics of discussion included public perceptions of the U.S.-Japan alliance, issues of national security and the continued value of bilateral friendship.
