On November 19, members of the NorCal region were treated to a custom tour of the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) in mid-November, led by USJC Council Leader and JAMsj Board President Michael Sera.
After learning about Japanese American history in the South Bay and seeing the amazing collection of historical farm equipment, tools, and household items used by Issei and Nisei agricultural workers, members gathered for a delicious Hawaiian meal at the nearby Hukilau restaurant.
Thank you to Dianne Fukami and Michael Sera for the write up and photos!
