On Saturday, July 16, the Northern California region gathered together for some summer fun at Spark Social in San Francisco. USJC members and their families were welcomed by NorCal Regional Co-Chair Jackie Funasaki and an icebreaker bingo was hosted by Derek Kenmotsu. Towards the end of the gathering, Kyle Oura was announced as the bingo winner and even though it was very sunny and warm, s’mores were made at the firepit. The NorCal regional members enjoyed being able to see everyone in person after a long time which included members coming into San Francisco from Sacramento, San Jose, and Santa Cruz. We thank Acting Consul General Kishimori for taking the time to visit with the NorCal regional members. In addition, thank you to the organizers Jackie Funasaki, Dianne Fukami, Michael Sera, Miko Sawamura, Tatsuki Tomita, and Derek Kenmotsu for a wonderful summer gathering.
