USJC Supports Screening of Defining Courage Alongside Other Organizations in Support of Maui Wildfire Relief

The U.S.-Japan Council was proud to support a screening of Defining Courage in Torrance on September 9 alongside many other noteworthy organizations. Council Leader David Ono (KABC TV, JALD ’18) served as the emcee. Friend of the Council Ann Burroughs (Japanese American National Museum) was also present. 100% of the ticket proceeds were donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation in support of Maui wildfire relief.
