The U.S.-Japan Council (USJC) is hosting its fourteenth Annual Conference on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu, HI, followed by Members Day on October 16.

Overview

USJC’s Annual Conference brings together leaders from government, business, academia, and the nonprofit sector to explore the evolving U.S.-Japan global partnership. This year’s conference will explore how shifts in leadership and policy priorities are creating new opportunities for strategic collaboration and meaningful global impact. Highlighting the deep cultural ties and community connections that link Hawai’i with both the United States and Japan, the conference will address key topics such as sustainable energy, investment opportunities, geopolitical security, and the legacy of thriving family-owned businesses.

Networking Dinners & Offsite Excursions

USJC is excited to announce that the 2025 Annual Conference Host Committee will be organizing optional networking dinners and offsite excursions. Networking dinners will take place on Wednesday, October 15, along with a special reception on Thursday, October 16. The offsite excursions include events on Oahu as well as day trip options to Maui and Hawaii Island, scheduled for Friday, October 17. Discounted overnight stays on Maui and Hawaii Island may also be available for those interested.
